Terms and Conditions
By participating in this event, participants are deemed to have agreed to and accepted the following terms and conditions.
- Each participant can only register one event account.
- After scanning the QR code to record a location, the system will lock the location information of the mobile phone, and participants will not be able to use the same mobile phone to record location information on another account.
- Participation in this event requires enabling the location services function on your mobile phone. Please ensure that the mobile phone used to register for the event has this function to successfully complete the challenge. The deadline for checking in at event checkpoints is 23:59 on 28 February 2025. All times are based on the time displayed in the submission system, and late submissions will not be accepted.
- After completing the event, prizes will be distributed to participants based on their accounts. Only one prize will be issued per account and mobile phone number.
- Participants must assess their abilities and decide whether to participate in the event based on their physical fitness and experience. They should ensure they have sufficient physical ability to complete the event.
- Participants should wear suitable hiking clothing and shoes, and bring their own food, drinking water, personal hiking equipment, sun protection, and rain gear.
- Safety is the top priority for this event. Participants should hike in groups, plan and prepare well for the hike, and must not hike alone.
- Participation in this event is voluntary, and the Organiser will design the event with safety in mind. Participants shall be responsible for their own safety, and the Organiser shall not be held responsible for any accidents caused by participants' negligence or inadequate physical fitness. Participants may purchase appropriate insurance if they deem necessary.
- Before the event, participants should read the Country Park Hiking Safety Guidelines and the Code for Visiting Country Parks and Special Areas carefully.
- The Organiser reserves the right to change the event terms and conditions at any time and will announce such changes on the event webpage without further notice.
In case of any disputes, the Organiser reserves the right of final decision regarding this event.
Personal Information Collection Statement
Personal data is provided voluntarily by applicants and will only be used for participation in the relevant event organised by the AFCD. The data will only be accessed by personnel processing the applications for communication and related purposes. Unless otherwise specified, personal data collected for the event shall be destroyed within six months after the end of the event.
